Tree-planting Day
In spring, the weather is warm and rainy. It’s the best time for planting trees. March 12th is Tree-planting Day. Do you know how to plant a tree? Let me tell you. At first, dig a large hole. Then put a young tree in the hole, and put the earth back in the hole. Tread(踩踏) the earth hard with your foot several times. Finally water it well.
It’s well known(众所周知的) that trees have very important effects on the environment and people’s life. It can keep back strong winds and hold soil in place(防风固沙). It can also beautify(美化) the environment.
