1. count

count作动词，表示“数，点数”。如：

Can you count from 1 to 100? 你能从1数到100吗？

2. be good at

be good at是个常用短语，意为“擅长于，在……方面做得好”，后面可接名词或v-ing形式，其近义短语为do well in。如：

Sandy is good at English.

= Sandy does well in English. 桑迪擅长于英语。

拓展：其反义短语是be weak in，意为“在……方面做得差”。如：

Tom is weak in playing basketball. 汤姆篮球打得不好。

3. still

still作副词，意为“仍然，还”。如：

拓展：still还可作形容词，意为“平静的，安静的，寂静的”。如：

The children find it hard to stay still. 那些孩子觉得待着不动很难做到。

4. hard

hard作形容词，意为“困难的，艰苦的，硬的”。如：

This book is too hard for me. 这本书对我来说太难了。

This is a hard job. 这是一份艰辛的工作。

hard作副词，意为“努力地，猛烈地”。如：

He studied very hard. 他学习非常努力。

It often rains hard here. 这儿经常下大雨。

5. mean

mean作动词，意为“意思是，意指”，后面跟名词、代词或者v-ing形式。如：

—What does “quick” mean? “quick”是什么意思？

—It means “fast”. 意思是“快的”。

It means traveling a lot. 这意味着要走很远的路。

mean还可当“打算，存心”讲，后面跟to do sth。如：

Sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you. 对不起，我不是有意要伤害你。

拓展：其名词形式是meaning，意为“意思，含义，意义”。
