   Dickens’s Cat

It’s true that the British are a nation of animals’ lovers, but they are not the first people to be interested in cats, dogs and so on. Jean Jacques Barley writes a book Man and Animals. It tells the long history of the relationship between human beings and animals.

The famous English writer Charles Dickens has a cat. Dickens likes working till the late every night. But his cat doesn’t like to see Dickens working too hard. At night, when the cat sees its owner working without stopping, it wants to say “stop working” to him. So it often puts out Dickens’ light with its paws and its owner has to stop. Today, the cat is one of the favorite animals all the time in England and in other countries around the world.

    有必要,利用假期多学点东西会很有用处。
    没必要,应让孩子们快乐地过个暑假。
    无所谓,主要是假期孩子没人照看。
