Winter Is Coming

There are four seasons in a year. Winter is the fourth season of a year. It lasts from November to January.

Now, it is December and the weather is getting colder and colder, sometimes with strong wind, so we must put on warm clothes, hats and gloves when we go out.

When it snows, the land is all white. Then we can play in the snow. We can make snowmen, have snowball fights or go skiing with our friends. What fun! Sometimes it is foggy. We should be careful on the way to school, because there are many cars and buses on the road.

In winter, the weather is the coldest. If you don’t like it, there is an old saying for you, “Winter has come, can spring be far away?”
