My Mother

My mother was born in Yangzhou in 1970. She had a good education. She is a good teacher and a good mother.

My mother teaches English in a middle school. She works hard and loves her students very much. She often helps the backward students with their lessons after class. All her students think she is great.

I am her only daughter, and my mother loves me very much. I can’t speak English very well, so my mother talks with me in English every evening. When I make mistakes, she never scolds me for it. She always helps me to correct them and says, “Don’t do that again!” Now my spoken English is much better. My English teacher is so surprised to see my great progress and he is very happy.

We love each other very much.
